Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall in a variety of residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help create smooth, durable wall surfaces that meet high standards of quality and safety. Duties
- Measure, cut, hang, and secure drywall panels according to project specifications and blueprints
- Finish drywall seams by taping, mudding, sanding, and applying texture for a seamless surface
- Install corner beads, trims, and other finishing elements to ensure a polished look
- Perform caulking around joints and edges to enhance durability and appearance
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute installation plans
- Collaborate with carpenters, painters, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and project completion
- Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to meet safety standards and client expectations
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a focus on drywall installation or related trades
- Strong knowledge of construction painting, carpentry, caulking, and handyman skills
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings effectively
- Hands-on experience with drywall tools such as taping knives, sanders, drills, and saws
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for precise finishing work
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various environments
- Valid experience in construction painting or general handyman roles is a plus
