Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lead Hand Operator to join our clients busy manufacturing team.

The role is essential for overseeing daily operations and ensuring that production meets quality standards. The Lead Hand will work closely with team members to facilitate efficient workflow, maintain safety protocols, and uphold the highest standards of quality control.
The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a commitment to excellence in fabrication and assembly processes, machining requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Conduct quality control checks using tools such as calipers and verify product specifications
- Read and interpret drawings to guide the fabrication process accurately
- Operate milling machines and other equipment as necessary for production tasks
- Assist in packaging finished products for shipment while ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Provide training and support to team members on best practices in fabrication
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a lead hand or supervisory role.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience on 3 axis CNC (Mill Preferred) and Lathe also beneficial
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively and is proficient with setups
- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards
- CAD/CAM experience would be a definite asset
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team
- Works well independently and in a team environment
- Flexible when overtime is required
Pay: $36.00-$42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
