Job Overview
We are seeking friendly and professional Banquet Servers/Bartenders to join our hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service during events, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable experience for all attendees. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a "can-do" attitude. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, contributing to special events, conferences and concerts while showcasing your customer service expertise. Full training will be given. No experience needed
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist
- Assist in setting up for meal periods, including breakfast, breaks, lunches, and dinners.
- Set up rooms in specific configurations based on client and event needs.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as needed, maintaining responsible alcohol service (Bartenders only)
- Ensure guest satisfaction by attending to their needs throughout the event
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of serving areas, including bar stations, pantries, service areas and dining spaces
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols at all times
- Set up banquet areas before events, including table settings and beverage stations
- Assist with event breakdowns, cleaning, and resetting for upcoming functions
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service experiences
Skills
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by event schedules
- Preferably, candidates should be able to lift more than 50 lbs
