Position Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specific location ensure the business runs safely, efficiently, and consistently. This includes supporting the team, maintaining high service standards, managing staffing and scheduling, resolving operational issues, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.
In addition to daily operations, the Operations Manager is responsible for reviewing business performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing changes that increase efficiency, improve customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and support the company's growth. This role works closely with leadership to improve processes, develop the team, and help scale the business.
Training on ALPHASHINE's detailing and aesthetic services will be provided.
Core Responsibilities
· Oversee the day-to-day operations to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations.
· Ensure company policies, procedures, and quality standards are consistently followed.
· Manage daily staffing, scheduling, workload distribution, and resource allocation.
· Support daily operations by detailing vehicles when required. This role requires physical fitness due to the nature of the work.
· Gain a full understanding of interior and exterior detailing services, aesthetic services, products, and equipment. Training will be provided.
· Train, coach, and develop Detailers and Team Leads while leading by example.
· Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workplace, including detailing bays, laundry, equipment, office areas, and shared spaces.
· Oversee valet operations, including coordinating vehicle pick-up and drop-off schedules.
· Monitor inventory levels, supplies, and equipment to ensure locations remain fully operational.
· Monitor customer feedback, resolve concerns promptly, and maintain high standards of customer service and communication.
· Identify operational issues and implement practical solutions that improve efficiency and service quality.
· Develop and improve operational processes and systems that increase consistency, accountability, and productivity.
· Review operational and labour data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
· Monitor operational costs, labour efficiency, inventory usage, and waste, and recommend improvements where needed.
· Perform root-cause analysis on recurring operational issues and implement long-term corrective actions.
· Recommend improvements to scheduling, workflows, and service delivery to improve business performance.
· Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports for leadership, highlighting key performance results and recommended actions.
· Support leadership with business planning and operational improvements by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
· Perform other duties and special projects as assigned to support the continued growth and success of the business.
Preferred Experience
- 2+ years in operations management or business operations.
- G license, adherence to traffic and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience leading multi-location operations is an asset.
- Experience with CRM and scheduling systems.
- Continuous improvement mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable interpreting operational KPIs.
- Demonstrated ability to improve business processes using data.
- Experience creating dashboards and performance reporting.
- Experience implementing process improvements with measurable business impact.
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
