Are you passionate about creating memorable customer experiences? Our client, a respected and well-established jewellery retailer in Fort Saskatchewan, is seeking a full-time Sales Associate to join their team.
In this role, you will help customers find meaningful pieces while providing attentive, knowledgeable service in a welcoming retail environment.
Competitive base pay plus commission is offered. Sales Associates have the potential to make up to $60,000 annually.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Learn about each customer’s needs and recommend suitable products.
- Present merchandise and clearly explain product features, materials, gemstones, care requirements and warranties.
- Develop long-standing client relationships through attentive service, trust and integrity.
- Meet individual and team sales goals while maintaining a customer-first approach.
- Process purchases, returns and other transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Follow up with customers regarding orders, repairs and special requests.
- Maintain attractive, clean and organized showcases and sales areas.
- Follow inventory-control, loss-prevention and store-security procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support a positive team environment.
- Participate in product training and continuously develop fine-jewellery knowledge.
- Assist with other store duties as required.
Key Qualifications and Experience Include:
- At least two years of experience in a customer-service or sales-focused role; retail experience is preferred.
- Fine-jewellery, gemstone or luxury-retail knowledge is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication, listening and relationship-building skills.
- A polished, professional and approachable manner.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning about new products and services.
- Comfort working toward sales goals in a commission-based environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle valuable merchandise responsibly.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience with point-of-sale systems and cash handling is an asset.
