Nanaimo's escape room experience, EXIT Nanaimo, is looking for a Game Master to join their team! We are looking for someone to work 10-30 hours per week, and weekend availability is mandatory. We also require that you can work late night shifts, as hour hours of operation are until 10pm and 12am.
What we are looking for:
- Someone creative and enthusiastic
- Customer service experience
- Strong accountability and initiative
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- A keen eye for detail (this is very important!)
- Good memory
- Patience and attentiveness
- A flexible schedule, weekend availability is mandatory
- Experience playing escape rooms is an asset, but not mandatory
- Being handy with tools, or some past experience in carpentry and fixing things
- Familiar with social media
What you'll do on the job:
- Opening and closing duties
- Manage security system
- Provide excellent customer service: in person, on the phone, and through email
- Book players into our system
- Learn all our rooms like the back of your hand
- Help create new themes
- Give hints and guide players through their themes
- Reset rooms for next players
- Cash handling
- General cleaning duties
