The Security Guard is responsible for patrolling all areas of the property and assist guests with room access if required during the shift and must be able to monitor Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV), perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire & life safety systems.
Duties and Responsibilities

Always follow safety and security policies and procedures.

Patrols properties interior ground and back of house area.

Patrols hallways, parking lots, stairwells, lobbies, bars, and restaurants.

Ensures all guest room doors are closed and all public access doors locked.

Ensures all properties security alarms and CCTC camera are on and functional.
-
Responsible for maintaining clear and concise logs of all nightly occurrences, suspicious activity.

Assist guests/employees during emergency situations.

Security guards might also need to evict loiterers or trespassers from time to time.

Always maintains safety and security of guests.

Attend phone calls with proper telephone etiquette and standard greetings.

Any other duties assigned by the superior or management.
Requirements and Attributes
-
1 to 2 years of experience in similar role or in a hospitality environment.

Proficient in both verbal and written communication
-
Basic reading, writing, math skills, and the capacity to work on a computer

Completion of high school diploma or related vocational training preferred

Ability to work Night Shifts
-
Ability to lift, pull, or push items weighing up to 100 pounds/45kilograms

Good communication skills.
