Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely towing vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring efficient operations. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, automotive repair, and commercial driving regulations. The Tow Truck Driver plays a vital role in assisting customers with vehicle emergencies while maintaining safety and professionalism at all times.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tow trucks to transport vehicles to designated locations.
- Respond promptly to roadside assistance requests and vehicle breakdowns.
- Assist customers with vehicle recovery, lockouts, and other roadside services.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on tow trucks to ensure optimal operation.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all towing activities and related reports.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during operations.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with vehicles or equipment.
- Utilize forklift or other equipment as needed for loading or unloading vehicles in certain situations.
Experience
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in commercial driving, automotive repair, or related fields is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicles and towing equipment is highly desirable.
- Customer service experience is a plus, as the role involves direct interaction with clients.
- Familiarity with forklift operation is beneficial but not mandatory. This position offers an engaging work environment where safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction are prioritized. Pay: $40,000.00-$62,400.00 per year
