QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a licensed Chiropractor under the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (good standing) with current professional liability insurance.
- ICPA/Webster Certification and/or experience with perinatal/pediatric populations is an asset. Acupuncture certification is preferred.
- Excellent patient service skills and the ability to demonstrate empathy.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Completes patient medical history + assessments, recommending and implementing treatment plans while providing exceptional patient care and therapeutic intervention. (Average subsequent treatment time 15-30 minutes).
- Develops strong relationships with patients by understanding needs; successfully impacts client patient loyalty and follow-up appointments.
- Provides patients with at-home plans for exercises and stretches to aid in their treatment.
- Offers recommendations of retail items such as, but not limited to orthotics, bracing, medical device equipment, etc.
- Is proactive at building a successful Chiropractic business within the clinic where clients are both acquired and retained.
- Consults with other health care professionals such as massage therapists, naturopathic doctors, physiotherapists, physicians, and psychologists to provide collaborative care.
- Maintains treatment plans, patient records, charts and EMR’s
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Refers clients to other in-house practitioners as needed.
Schedule: Part-Time to Full-time, flexible hours (3-5 days/week Monday-Saturday)
