First Officer Qualifications:
- Canadian Commercial
- Valid Cat 1 Medical
- Valid Radio Telephone Operators Certificate from Industry Canada
- Minimum 500hrs Total time
- 250 Multi preferred
- 100 PIC preferred
- Navajo experience preferred
- Instrument Rating
- 2 Crew or Single Pilot IFR Experience
- Valid Canadian Passport
- Navajo experience – considered an asset
- Previous airborne survey experience – considered an asset
- Be dexterous and occasionally lift a maximum of 75lbs
- All required visas or travel documents allowing you to freely travel unrestricted
- Local applicants only for CYMM base (Fort McMurray area) or ability to relocate
- Preference will be given to applicants with multi-engine experience
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Two crew aerial survey flight and repositioning flights on a Piper Navajo
- Supporting the day-to-day flight operations in a manner that meets or exceeds service expectations of the client while ensuring compliance with Canadian Air Regulations and IAGSA
- Conducting risk analyses and SMS reviews for flight operations with a focus on continuous improvement
- Supporting accident/ incident/ hazard investigations as required
- Completing all required documentation in a timely manner, including flight logs, tracking sheets, SMS reports and required financial reports
- Contributing positively to the culture, growth, and strategic direction of the company
Due to the nature of our business, the successful candidates must be flexible with the willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. Our home base is Calgary/Springbank (CYBW).
