Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Parts Person to join our team. This role is essential in managing inventory, sourcing parts, and supporting our dealership. Experience in dealership or automotive parts is highly preferred. The Parts Person will play a key role in ensuring the timely procurement and availability of parts to support operational efficiency.
Duties
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate data entry for all parts transactions
- Source and procure parts through suppliers
- Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable supply chain operations
- Assist customers and internal teams with parts inquiries, providing exceptional customer service
- Coordinate with the purchasing department to fulfill parts requests efficiently
- Support service departments by sourcing mechanical parts
- Conduct regular stock audits and manage reorder points to prevent shortages
- Assist in developing sourcing strategies for hard-to-find or specialized parts
Skills
- Proven experience in dealership or auto part environments preferred
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail
- Customer service orientation with effective communication skills
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to automotive
- Must be computer literate
Pay: $46,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
