Key Responsibilities
Journeyperson Electrician
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings
- Install conduit, wiring, and electrical equipment
- Set up and maintain electrical distribution and control systems
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and data cabling
- Test circuits and equipment to ensure safety and performance
- Install and maintain fibre optic systems
Foreman Electrician
- Lead, mentor, and supervise electrical crews
- Coordinate project schedules, materials, and daily workflow
- Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards on site
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and project specifications
- Proactively identify and resolve project challenges
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician certification/licence
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred for Foreman applicants
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Professional, safety-focused mindset
- Strong mathematical, mechanical, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Interest in working on diverse and technically challenging projects
