Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, communication skills, and experience in warehouse or commercial driving environments.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicle to transport products to customers and distribution centers
- Load and unload items using moving equipment such as forklifts or hand trucks when necessary
- Ensure accurate delivery of goods, verifying orders, and obtaining signatures upon receipt
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle throughout shifts
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory and organizing stock as needed
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during deliveries
Skills
- Experience in warehouse operations, including moving heavy items and forklift operation is a plus
- Strong driving skills with a valid G license in Ontario and Drivers Abstract
- Customer service skills to represent the company professionally during interactions with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory count and delivery
- Reliable, punctual, with a focus on safety and attention to detail
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Freelance
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
