Job Title: Service Writer
Location: Parker Marine, Nanaimo
Parker Marine is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team in Nanaimo. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for coordinating all service activities, from scheduling to invoicing, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and provide work to service technicians
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service inquiries, estimates, and updates
- Prepare and submit service quotes and invoices
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of service work orders
- Maintain detailed and accurate service records, including customer and equipment information
- Complete and submit warranty claims
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized service area
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and service management software
- Experience in the marine industry is a plus
