We're looking for an experienced Excavator Operator who takes pride in their work, operates equipment safely, and enjoys being part of a hardworking crew.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators safely and efficiently on landscaping and construction projects
- Perform grading, trenching, excavation, backfilling, and site preparation
- Load and move materials as required
- Read and interpret site plans and grades
- Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Work closely with crew members to ensure projects stay on schedule
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site
- Assist with general labour duties when equipment operation is not required
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating excavators (required)
- Experience with landscape construction or civil construction is considered an asset
- Ability to grade accurately and work around existing utilities and structures
- Valid driver's licence (AZ or DZ licence is an asset)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
