Role Responsibilities
- Day-to-day operation of a state of the art cold & dry storage distribution center
- Operate ammonia/CO2 refrigeration systems as outlines in the TSSA regulations
- Conduct facility inspections on a regular basis
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Coordination and communication to operators as to required tasking to clients and liaising with facility management
- Creation of standard operating procedures (SOP's) and record of training (ROT's)
Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience of relevant experience in an Operator role or similar
- 2-4 years of experience overseeing a team
- Post-secondary education and valid Refrigeration Operator Class B, as well 3rd Class Engineers
- Competent computer and administration skills
- Valid working at heights, WHMIS, Ariel platform certifications is an asset (training provided as needed)
