Precision Aluminum is a leader in the commercial aluminum railing manufacturing industry. We are currently looking for an Drafting Person to join our team!

Precision Aluminum manufactures and installs aluminum railings, fencing, gates, and various other aluminum products for commercial projects. We service a vast array of client applications from architects and developers to other commercial and industrial clients across Western Canada.
You will be successful in this position if you are a self-starter and motivated to provide excellent client experiences.
Job Description:
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills and communication with reports, peers, management, and clients
- Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Reader & Writer, Blue Beam, and AutoCAD 2D
- Strong organizational capabilities and focus.
- Reading and understanding construction plans and assisting Commercial Sales with material take-offs, number breakdowns, specifications review, and ordering. Coordinating by managing schedules, gather documents and communicating relevant information.
- Working with the sales team to handle urgent calls, emails, answering queries on estimates.
- Resourcing supplier for custom orders.
- Generate timely reporting that recaps achievements (meeting highlights, market intelligence, etc.)
- Managing budget quote numbers for future tenders
- Creating formulas and spreadsheets to assist in a more consistent and streamline pricing methods.
- Stay abreast of competition, industry trends and market intelligence, providing feedback to the Sales Manager/Supervisor to support recommendations and identify developing opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.
