Radisson Hotel & Conference Centre Calgary Airport is hiring energetic and customer friendly Housekeeper/Room Attendant to start immediately.
Position Description
Creates guest satisfaction and exceeds expectations by providing the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality
Cleans assigned guest rooms or suites which include making beds, vacuuming, dusting, arranging room furniture if required, cleaning coffee maker and cleaning bathroom while following the guidelines of the Self-Inspection checklist.
Empty all trash containers.
Restock useable items in guest rooms or suites, i.e., soap, towels, paper items, coffee/tea.
Ensure removal and appropriate disposition of guest room trays, dinner, glass and silverware to the service landing area.
Clean and vacuum exterior entry and hallways.
Keep linen closets and supply areas clean and organized.
Ensure guest laundry and dry-cleaning orders are attended to promptly.
Promptly handles guest complaints or requests and refers to supervisor if unable to handle.
Ensures that all rooms or suites are secured upon leaving the guest room or suite.
Stock cart at the beginning and end of every shift.
Completes all Self-Inspection checklists and returns daily boards to the Housekeeping Office Coordinator.
Follows all safety regulations when handling cleaning supplies or bodily fluids as outlined during company trainings.
Works as a Team member to maintain pleasant work environment.
Reports to work dressed according to Carlson Grooming Standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Minimum of one-year hospitality experience in housekeeping;
Works well independently or as part of a team;
Commitment to exceptional guest service;
A positive attitude;
Adhere to the policies and procedures of the hotel.
