About the Role
We're a busy vape shop in Douglas, Surrey looking for a reliable, customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team full-time. You'll be the face of the store — helping customers find the right products, processing transactions, keeping the shop clean and well-stocked, and making sure every visitor walks out happy.
This role is perfect for someone who shows up consistently, takes pride in their work, and wants stable hours with a regular schedule.
What You'll Do
- Greet customers and provide product recommendations
- Verify customer ID for every sale (BC law: 19+ only)
- Operate the POS system and handle cash, debit, and credit transactions
- Restock shelves, manage inventory, and keep the store clean and organized
- Stay up to date on new products, brands, and industry trends
- Open and close the store as scheduled
What We're Looking For
- **Must be 19 years of age or older** (legal requirement to sell vape products in BC)
- Reliable transportation to and from Douglas, Surrey
- Confirmed availability for the full schedule above, including weekends
- Strong work ethic — this is an in-person retail role and we cannot accommodate frequent call-outs
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable talking to customers
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Previous retail or vape industry experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate
