We are seeking a creative and experienced Art Portfolio Class Teacher to guide our students in building competitive visual arts, design, and architecture portfolios. Your primary mission will be helping students successfully navigate admissions requirements for prestigious post-secondary institutions.
What You'll Do:
- Mentor & Curate: Work one-on-one with students to select, sequence, and document their best work, tailoring portfolios to specific university requirements.
- Instruct: Teach advanced techniques in traditional fine arts and contemporary conceptual thinking.
- Refine Artist Statements: Guide students in articulating their creative process through compelling written artist statements.
- Studio Management: Maintain an inspiring, organized, and safe studio space.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Design, or a related field. (OCT certification is a strong asset but not strictly mandatory for the right industry professional).
- Track Record: Proven experience helping students get accepted into competitive art and design programs.
- Artistic Breadth: Strong technical skills across multiple mediums, plus familiarity with digital artwork documentation.
- Communication: Exceptional patience and ability to communicate with international students and collaborate with our guidance team.

Pay: $40,000.00 per year
