WRT Equipment Ltd. is a manufacturer of high quality equipment and components for the aggregate, asphalt and mining industries. We are an ISO:9001 2015 Quality Management System registered company and are currently seeking a highly motivated person for the position of Mechanic.
Duties
- Read blueprints, requisition all hardware and components required for assembly
- Assemble components according to proper procedure
- Inspect components to specification
- Test run components when required
- Follow all procedures involved in the QA program and actively participate
- Clean shop on a daily basis
- Work safely, being mindful of others and their safety as well
- Report to the shop foreman or the production manager as required
- Be willing to work in other areas of production as the need arises
- Be responsible for the quality level of work that he does
- Complete job tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure shop is kept clean and tidy on a regular basis.
Requirements
- Must have some experience in the heavy industrial mechanical trade and possess some natural ability with mechanical assembly
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to work alone or in a team setting.
- Ability to take on multiple projects at one time.
- Must hold and maintain a Valid Class 5 Drivers License.
