We have an opening for an experienced graphic designer to join us for a 6-month full-time contract. Based in Calgary, you’ll work on design projects from start to finish across digital, print, and video with an eye on quality to deliver consistent business goals for our clients.
Day-to-day, you’ll design graphics and assets including site concepts, page designs, campaigns and reports. You’ll work closely with the team to deliver polished, production-ready work including websites, digital campaigns, video graphics, animation, and marketing materials.
Beyond execution, you’ll contribute to creative ideas, and show up confidently in client presentations and feedback sessions.
Required Skills and Expertise:
- Strong design portfolio demonstrating experience across digital and print
- Logo design and branding, including creating and evolving visual identities and brand systems
- Advanced design and motion design skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma
- Project experience from concept to delivery, including presenting work to clients and addressing feedback
- Ability to interpret project requirements and approach, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt designs based on feedback
- Knowledge of UX best practices, responsive layout, accessibility best practices, and asset preparation for web and video
- 5+ years of experience and post-secondary education in Design or Visual Communications
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; commitment to inclusive, respectful teamwork
Contract details
- 6-month full-time contract with potential to transition to a full-time permanent role
- Hybrid location: 3 days onsite at our Calgary office and 2 days work-from-home
Pay: $5,500.00-$6,000.00 per month
