Job Summary:
We are seeking a Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, operate the cash register, and assist with product demonstrations.
Responsibilities:
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Assist customers in locating products and making purchasing decisions
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
-Provide customers with a professional and friendly service at all times;
-Ensure customer-facing and storage / logistics areas of the business are clean and organized
-Conduct till transactions including cash and credit card sales in accordance with standard operating procedures;
-Restock and rotate stock in accordance with standard operating procedures;
-Ensure all transactions are in compliance with the Liquor Control Act and other applicable legislation;
-Support a culture of continuous improvement through identifying opportunities for an improved staff and customer experience, including safety hazards.
Experience:
- Prior experience in sales or customer service is preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members
- Strong organizational skills to manage cashier duties efficiently
- Technical sales knowledge or experience is a plus
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is advantageous for serving diverse customers
