Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Houseperson/Security professional to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facility. This role involves performing custodial duties, ensuring the security of the premises, and providing excellent hospitality service. The position is split into 2 separate departments and shifts. 3 shifts will be in the Houseperson position from 2:30pm to 11:00pm, followed by 2 shifts from 11:00pm to 7:00am as a security person. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and security, with a focus on maintaining a welcoming and secure environment for guests and staff. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-maintained, safe, and hospitable setting.

Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing public areas and service spaces
- Conduct routine security checks to monitor for safety hazards or unauthorized access
- Assist with hotel or facility guest services as needed, providing a hospitable experience
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other common areas in accordance with established standards
- Respond promptly to security concerns or guest requests to ensure a safe environment
- Support with industrial or custodial cleaning tasks when required
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately
- Uphold safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Prior experience in hospitality, hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or industrial cleaning is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to perform security checks and recognize potential safety issues
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Previous experience in security or hospitality roles is advantageous but not mandatory
- Must be reliable, responsible, and committed to maintaining a clean and secure environment
