Shingle & Stone Contractors is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Roof Inspector to join our expanding team. If you enjoy working outdoors, meeting homeowners, and helping identify roofing issues before they become major problems, we'd love to hear from you.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with roofing, construction, home inspection, or sales experience. Training is available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential roof inspections throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
- Safely assess roofs for damage, wear, leaks, and storm-related issues.
- Take clear photos and document inspection findings.
- Explain inspection results to homeowners in a professional and friendly manner.
- Recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions when needed.
- Complete inspection reports using company software.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance while representing the company.
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience in roofing, construction, home inspections, or a related field is an asset.
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid G driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and manage appointments efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of roofing systems is preferred.
- Ability to use a smartphone or tablet for photos and reports.
