Job Description:
Industrial sandblasting heavy machinery.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for ensuring a quality finish and meeting company quality control standards
· Work with supervisors and managers to plan and prioritize work
· Preparing various units for sandblast
· Sandblast machines to company and customer expectations
· Maintain safe work conditions
· Maintain a clean workspace (blast area, recycle room, hoses & helmets)
· Comply with company HSE practices & policies
Qualifications:
· Sandblast experience is not required but will be an asset, willing to train
· Valid Class 5 License and Own transportation
· Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (Standing, Lifting, Bending, Twisting)
· Ability to work evenings, weekends & holidays
· Energetic and motivated
· Strong verbal and written English skills
Certification (Company may provide if required):
· Fall Pro
· FIT Tested
· WHMIS
Additional Certifications that will lend further consideration:
· First Aid
· Loader/Skid Steer
Proper PPE Required
· CSA approved steel toe boots
· High Vis Clothing
· Additional PPE will be supplied
Wages are negotiable and based on experience. Benefit Package available after probationary period. Please include wage expectations along with your resume.
