We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Painter to join our team at our Moose Jaw location. Our shift is days (5a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday to Thursday)
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Reporting to the Manufacturing Coordinator, the purpose of the Painter is to support the manufacturing flow by providing safe, efficient and quality painting processes to ensure our customers’ trailers are on schedule for delivery.
Key accountabilities include:
· Prepping and painting Doepker trailers.
· Respect and achieve deadlines
· Critical eyes with strong attention to detail
· Maintain equipment
· Maintain a clean work area
· Follow established procedures (safe operating procedures; quality procedures; work instructions)
· Share your ideas to contribute to process improvements
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
· Experience painting on a production line
· Experience using hand tools and paint guns
· Ability to think critically and problem solve
· Experience working with drawings
· Positive attitude
· Ability to collaborate with a team
· Experience with lean methodology is an asset
· Proactively learn new skills
