Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to create a lively and inviting atmosphere.
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems to process orders accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations.
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws and policies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders when necessary.
- Keep track of inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, especially in bar or beverage service roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems or similar platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills, including the ability to handle diverse guest interactions professionally.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and measuring ingredients.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Hospitality experience is a plus, along with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
