Levert is currently hiring a Recruiter to work out of our Timmins Office. As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for delivering all facets of our recruiting success. This will be achieved by sourcing qualified candidates to work for our clients in the mining sector. You will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent for our clients’ needs.

About the job:
-
Source qualified candidates for our clients’ needs; based on experience, qualification, and skills as outlined in the work order

Maintain an up-to-date database and pipeline of qualified candidates to meet current and future client needs
-
Prepare job advertisements to attract high quality candidates
-
Review resumes and interview candidates to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills to determine suitability for job opportunities both present and future

Communicate effectively with candidates regarding employment opportunities, job descriptions and details and maintain relationships with potential candidates

Conduct resumes searches utilizing CRM database and other resume sourcing tool (Indeed, LinkedIn etc.) to search for the best talent for our clients

Complete references and arrange pre-employment testing and background checks on candidates

Collaborate with Site Scheduling Coordinator(s) to ensure candidates complete onboarding documents and site training requirements

Participate in regular job fairs and other promotional events as deemed necessary

Collect candidate information and documentation and enter into CRM

All relevant duties as assigned
What you need:
-
Successful candidates must have a Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related fields or prior recruiting experience

Recruiting experience is preferred, with mining and industrial sector experience considered a strong asset

Strong desire to achieve company KPI’s; such as achieving interview targets, maintaining sufficient database of qualified candidates and completing candidate satisfaction surveys

Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines

Excellent English communication skills, both orally and written

Strong computer skillset using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Valid drivers license, with access to personal vehicle
