Job Overview
The Accounts Payable & Administrative Clerk is responsible for the accurate processing of accounts payable transactions and supporting administrative functions. This position ensures vendor invoices are entered and paid accurately, maintains financial records, and provides administrative support to the Office Manager and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Process accounts payable, including invoice entry, approvals, vendor payments, employee expenses, and cheque runs.
· Maintain accurate financial records through account reconciliations, recurring expense processing, and payment tracking.
· Reconcile customer payments, credit cards, and bank transactions, and investigate discrepancies as needed.
· Identify and communicate payment discrepancies.
· Support administrative operations through filing, document management, audit preparation, vendor setup, and general office assistance.
· Provide backup reception and administrative support when required.
Qualifications & Skills
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.
· Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
· Strong organizational skills.
· Professional communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
Education & Experience Requirements
· Post-secondary diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· Minimum three (3) years of relevant accounting and financial administration experience.
· Experience within an Engineering, Consulting, or Professional Services environment considered an asset.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
