Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Givex POS. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems like Givex POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, bar, and service stations
- Assist in setting up and breaking down service areas before and after shifts
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
- Respond to guest inquiries promptly, providing excellent customer service
- Uphold all food industry standards and promote a hospitable environment
Skills
- Experience with POS systems, especially GivexPOS or similar platforms
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing purposes
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact with guests
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
