Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, construction experience, and the ability to interpret schematics to ensure precise installation and service. The HVAC Installer will work closely with clients and team members to deliver high-quality solutions that meet safety standards and customer expectations.
Duties
- Install HVAC systems including ductwork, thermostats, and related components according to specifications and schematics
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on existing HVAC units
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during installation projects
- Use plumbing, welding, and mechanical skills to assemble and secure system components
- Conduct system testing to verify proper operation and compliance with safety standards
- Assist in reading and interpreting technical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and organized during and after installations
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining system operations and answering client questions
Qualifications
- Proven experience in HVAC installation or related mechanical fields such as plumbing, welding, or appliance repair
- Strong knowledge of boiler systems, mechanical systems, and construction practices
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in maintenance or mechanic roles preferred
- Construction experience is advantageous for understanding building codes and safety protocols
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, appliance repair, boiler operation, and general maintenance procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various work environments
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between job sites
