Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanic Technician specializing in parts and marine repair. The ideal candidate will have experience and a strong mechanical background to perform maintenance, repairs. This role involves working with hand tools, power tools, and schematics. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair systems using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform maintenance tasks including oil changes, engine diagnostics, and part replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and assemblies
- Assist with the installation of new parts and components, ensuring proper fit and function.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and dealership policies
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Assist in inventory management by ordering and organizing parts as needed
Skills
- Proven experience or extensive mechanic experience preferred
- Proficiency with schematics, assembly instructions, and technical manuals
- Skilled in use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients
- Mechanical knowledge with a focus on diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
