Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and footy loving Festival Bar Staff to join our team at our Ship & Anchor Live World Cup Footy gardens. This role involves providing exceptional service to attendees, serving beverages, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to enjoy a fun filed summer working outside, and ctaching all the World Cup action in a vibrant atmosphere while gaining experience in customer service and bartending skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS system
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety and food handling standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing guest inquiries promptly
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple guests during peak times without compromising quality
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the event area before and after shifts
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and safety at the event
Experience
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality excellence
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Experience serving or bartending at festivals or large events is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude
Pay: $18.00 per hour
