Position Responsibilities:
- Oversee, maintain, and inspect all designated buildings and properties
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with tenants and property managers
- Coordinate ongoing maintenance and inspections to comply with all relevant laws, codes, and company policies
- Manage vendor/contractor relationships
- Manage the entire tenant life cycle from move in to move out and everything in between
- Address tenant questions/complaints and enforce building rules and policy
- Inspections
- Maintain tenant files in Yardi
- Achieve occupancy and retention targets
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years experience in a residential building/community manager or leasing role
- Good understanding of Yardi or a comparable accounting & property management software system
- Highly organized and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Independant problem solving skills and the ability to take initiative to improve results
- Proven ability to comply with operational policies and procedures, codes, and regulations and follow direction from senior leadership
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with residents, colleagues and trades
- Maintain a professional and presentable appearance at all times
- Availability to work some weekends and evenings and respond to after hours emergencies
