Morrison Windows is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator/Draftsperson. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both estimating and shop drawings, capable of handling both tasks simultaneously with precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed shop drawings based on project specifications and architectural drawings and prepare accurate and competitive estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure project requirements are fully understood and met.
- Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and other documents.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, drawings, and project documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules and timelines.
- Provide technical support and solutions to the project team as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in estimating and drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and other relevant drafting software.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
