Join Beacon Community Services as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Parry Place Assisted Living. This is a unique opportunity to join a newly formed team and help shape how care is delivered as the program transitions. In this rewarding role, you’ll provide nursing care, guide and support Health Care Assistants, and play a key part in ensuring residents live with dignity, independence, and comfort in a safe and respectful environment.
Days/Hours of Work: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, 4 days on, 4 days off. There will be opportunities to pick up additional shifts for vacation and sick coverage.

What You’ll Do

Provide nursing care within LPN scope of practice, policies, and Assisted Living regulations.

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care plans.

Administer and manage medications per BC guidelines.

Respond to health changes, urgent care needs, and emergencies.

Mentor and support Health Care Assistants in safe care practices.
-
Collaborate with families, physicians, and community health professionals.

Maintain accurate records and regulatory compliance.
-
Other duties as required.
What You Bring
-
Completion of a recognized Practical Nursing program.

Current registration with the BCCNM in good standing.

Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or community health
-
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.

Ability to work with older adults, including those with dementia.
