Resort Housekeeping & Guest Services Associate

Twin Lakes Resort is a family-owned waterfront resort in beautiful Minden, Ontario. We take pride in providing clean accommodations, outstanding customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests returning year after year.
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and friendly Resort Housekeeping & Guest Services Associate to join our team. This position is primarily focused on housekeeping (approximately 80%), with occasional guest service and front desk responsibilities.

Key ResponsibilitiesHousekeeping (Approximately 80%)
- Clean cottages, cabins, washrooms, and common areas to high standards.
- Make beds and replace linens and towels.
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, windows, floors, and furniture.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and restock guest amenities.
- Assist with laundry and linen organization.
- Inspect accommodations before guest arrivals.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Assist with outdoor property maintenance, including yard work, grass cutting, keeping grounds clean, and maintaining the overall appearance of the resort.
- Follow health and safety procedures and ensure accommodations are guest-ready on time.
Guest Services (Approximately 20%)
- Welcome guests during check-in and check-out.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries.
- Assist with reservations and guest payments when required.
- Help guests with questions and ensure an excellent guest experience.
- Support the team with daily resort operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent work ethic.
- Friendly and customer-focused.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to perform housekeeping and light outdoor maintenance duties.
- Basic computer skills are an asset.
- Previous housekeeping, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset but not required—training will be provided.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays during the busy season.
