Purpose Construction is a non-profit social enterprise providing professional property maintenance and environmental services throughout Winnipeg. We work with property management companies, businesses, and residential clients to keep properties safe, clean, and well-maintained while making a positive impact in our community.
We're looking for a Property Services Driver/Labourer who enjoys being on the road and takes pride in safe driving. This role combines driving with hands-on property maintenance, requiring you to transport crews, equipment, and materials between job sites while assisting with a variety of physical labour tasks. No two days are the same, and every day offers the opportunity to make a visible difference in our community.
POSITION SUMMARY
As a Property Services Driver/Labourer, you'll be responsible for safely operating company trucks and transporting crews, equipment, and materials to multiple work sites throughout Winnipeg. When not driving, you'll work alongside the Supervisor and Property Services team completing a variety of maintenance, cleanup, landscaping, and removal projects. This is a physically demanding position that requires working indoors and outdoors in all seasons while maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Your responsibilities will include:
§ Safely driving company trucks between multiple job sites while conducting basic vehicle inspections and ensuring equipment and materials are transported securely.
§ Assisting with abandoned goods removal, moving furniture and debris, loading and unloading materials, and disposing of waste at approved facilities.
§ Completing property maintenance services including residential and commercial cleaning, landscaping, pressure washing, graffiti removal, snow removal, and general site cleanup.
§ Maintaining safe, clean, and organized work sites while following company policies, using required PPE, and representing Purpose Construction professionally when interacting with clients and tenants.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
§ Valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract.
§ Ability to safely operate a pickup truck or similar company vehicle.
§ Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physically demanding work.
§ Reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Assets:
§ Experience driving trucks and/or towing trailers.
§ Experience in property maintenance, landscaping, construction, moving, cleaning, or a related field.
§ WHMIS and/or First Aid/CPR certification.
