Responsibilities:

Structured daily metric reporting to General Manager.

Develop and follow action plans to ensure Fixed Operations profitability.

Responsible for profit management in the Parts and Service Departments and must examine department financial statements, including expenses and revenue, to ensure the department's profitability.

Effectively utilize leadership skills, including coaching, organizing and planning, interpersonal sensitivity, and take a proactive interest in the training and development of the Fixed Operations team.

Establish and maintain good relationships with customers and to exceed their expectations.

Monitor the parts inventory and anticipates parts needs in light of future promotions, new model years, trends, and suggested stock orders.

Analyze current inventory, spot-checking to ensure that actual inventory coincides with computerized inventory, checking on back orders, etc.

Supervise all counterpersons and schedules while providing technical assistance to Parts and Service department employees when needed.

Ability to review and revise customer service orders and inspect the quality of technicians' repairs.

Seeks to prevent and resolve customer vehicle problems promptly by emphasizing to customers the importance of consistent, regular vehicle maintenance.

Continuously monitor work flow in the dealership and minimizes disruptions by developing the backup abilities of the team to compensate for illnesses, vacations, and turnover.

Effectively communicate with people in all dealership departments.

Maintaining the highest Customer Service Index (CSI) rating from customers by handling customer complaints immediately and according to dealership policy.

All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Minimum of high school education, while a post-secondary degree/diploma in business administration considered an asset

Automotive industry knowledge and experience considered an asset

Effective interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and personal sensitivities with the ability to delegate and coach when required and openly receive different viewpoints as part of the decision-making process.

Customer focused with the ability to respond with empathy and interest to the customer. Ability to take an interest in team members, including proactively promoting appropriate development.

Knowledge of Standard Accounting Policies and financial procedures including ability to review and analyze departmental financial results.

Unwavering commitment to conduct business honestly and with integrity.
