**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste disposal in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. **Responsibilities:** - Read and interpret blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts. - Install pipes and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, air conditioners, and pumps. - Assemble fittings and valves for installation. - Modify pipe systems to accommodate changes or new construction. - Perform regular maintenance of plumbing systems. - Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions for plumbing problems. - Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipefitters, and steamfitters when necessary. **Qualifications:** - Proven experience as a plumber. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints. - Knowledge of building codes and regulations. - Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as the ability to complete a company-specific safety orientation. - Proficient in using power tools and other equipment common to the trade. - Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary. - Basic math skills required for measurements and calculations. **Nice-to-Have Skills:** - Experience with HVAC systems. - Familiarity with welding techniques. - Carpentry skills for minor repairs or modifications. - Ability to read schematics for complex plumbing systems.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
