Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Building Maintenance Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working with people and takes pride in maintaining safe, clean, and well-functioning properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
- Operate and safely use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Complete work orders efficiently and accurately.
- Meet with clients and residents in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner.
- Respond to maintenance requests and communicate repair timelines.
- Conduct routine inspections of building systems and common areas.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work using a computer or maintenance software.
- Assist with seasonal maintenance, including snow removal, landscaping, or other property upkeep as required.
- Periodically on-call (Weekends/After Hours)
Qualifications
- Experience in building maintenance, property maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable interacting with clients, residents, and contractors.
- Proficient in using common hand and power tools.
- Basic computer skills, including email, work order systems, and Microsoft Office or similar software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Must have Valid driver's license.
