Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Garage Door Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining garage doors for residential and commercial properties. Willing to train.
Responsibilities
- Install new garage doors and openers
- Install new dock systems and repair existing
- Repair and replace damaged garage door components
- Perform routine maintenance on garage doors and related equipment
- Troubleshoot issues with garage door systems
- Provide excellent customer service during service calls
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and accurately
-Must be able to provide own transportation to get to and from work
Qualifications
- Drivers license is necessary
- Experience in carpentry and/ or electrical an asset
- Knowledge of drywall, flooring installation, welding, and blueprint reading an asset
- Ability to restore and repair various types of garage doors
- Safe and proficient knowledge of handtools and power tools an asset
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
