Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to lead our store team and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, retail management expertise, and excellent communication abilities. This role offers an opportunity to oversee daily store operations, manage staff, and drive sales growth in a fast-paced retail environment. Bilingual skills and prior supervisory experience are highly valued for this position.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and sales activities
- Lead and motivate a team of retail associates to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Manage staffing schedules, recruiting efforts, and staff training & development programs
- Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, pricing strategies, to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to attract customers and increase store traffic
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and facilitate team meetings to foster a positive work environment
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints efficiently, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Assist with purchasing decisions, and optimize store layout for maximum sales potential
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
Requirements
- Proven supervising or retail management experience with strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Merchandising, pricing strategies, and cash handling procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to perform administrative tasks such as bookkeeping and payroll processing accurately
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team with effective interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of sales management techniques, store management best practices, and organizational skills
