Role Overview
We are currently hiring 310S Licensed Automotive Technicians and Registered 310S Automotive Apprentices (Level 1–4) for a well-established automotive repair facility in Barrie, Ontario.

Licensed 310S Technicians are guaranteed a minimum of $2,400 in earnings per pay period, subject to attendance and company policies, providing added income stability during slower work periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Repair and service engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, fluid services, tire rotations, and alignments.
- Mount, balance, repair, and install tires and wheels.
- Perform safety inspections and road tests when required.
- Complete repair orders accurately and maintain detailed service documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with service advisors and fellow technicians to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Apprentices will work under the supervision of Licensed 310S Technicians while progressing through their apprenticeship program.
Qualifications
310S Licensed Technician
- Valid Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician Licence.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair experience.
- Previous dealership or independent repair shop experience is considered an asset.
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence.
- Own professional automotive tools.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
310S Automotive Apprentice
- Registered 310S Automotive Apprentice (Level 1–4) with Skilled Trades Ontario.
- Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Valid Ontario G or G2 Driver's Licence is considered an asset.
- Own basic tools or willingness to build a professional tool set.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on domestic and import vehicles.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience using diagnostic scanners and repair information systems.
- Familiarity with CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Protractor, or similar shop management software is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
