Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing guests with a welcoming breakfast experience, ensuring food quality, safety, and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and food service, with experience in restaurant or food industry settings preferred. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and guest satisfaction are paramount.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and serving stations
- Ensure food safety and proper handling of all food items in compliance with health regulations
- Replenish buffet or serving stations with fresh food and supplies throughout the shift
- Assist guests with inquiries, seating arrangements, and overall hospitality needs
- Monitor food temperatures and quality to ensure guest safety and satisfaction
- Restock supplies such as utensils, napkins, condiments, and beverages as needed
- Follow all safety procedures related to food handling and sanitation standards

- Additional Assigned Duties (Ground Floor Areas)
- Clean and maintain ground‑floor public areas, including:
- Lobby seating area
- Hallways and entrances
- Elevator area
- Public washrooms
- Coffee station and guest-use microwave/fridge areas
- Spot‑clean windows, doors, and high‑touch surfaces as needed.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues immediately to management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant, food service, or hospitality industries is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to serve guests efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with food preparation or barista skills is a plus
- Ability to work early mornings and adapt to a flexible schedule
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Prior experience in serving or hospitality roles is desirable but not mandatory
