Perfect Scents K9 is looking for a mature, responsible person to care for and meet the needs of boarding, daycare and grooming dogs in a very busy/ fast pace environment. This position entails working every other weekend. Experience in working with dogs (not just owning a dog) is preferred as well as being able to speak with customers easily. This is not a job for those thinking they can come and play with dogs all day. It is a very demanding, dirty and hard working job.
Job outline would include:
- working in a very fast pace environment
- understanding & reading dogs behaviour and body language
- caring for all dogs in our facility (feeding, watering, administration of medication)
- cleaning dogs rooms and keeping facility clean
- supervising multiple outdoor playtimes per day
- keeping play areas clean (scooping poop)
- customer service (speaking with clients, checking dogs in & out)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Burford, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- working with dogs: 1 year (preferred)
