Assistant Manager – Jewellery Retail (Sales & Team Lead Focus)
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a strong salesperson who is ready to take the next step into leadership. You will play a key role in driving sales while supporting day-to-day team operations and helping guide staff on the sales floor.
Part-time and full-time opportunities are available.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a premium in-store experience
- Assist customers with product selection, styling, and purchases
- Consistently achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets
- Support the Store Manager in daily operations and opening/closing procedures
- Provide leadership on the sales floor by coaching, motivating, and supporting team members
- Help onboard and train new staff in product knowledge and sales techniques
- Monitor team performance and lead by example to drive results
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and a clean, organized store environment
- Handle transactions accurately using POS systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of retail sales experience (jewellery experience is a strong asset)
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Previous leadership, keyholder, or supervisory experience is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Natural ability to motivate others and foster a positive team environment
- Reliable, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly wage: $19 – $25, based on experience

Job Details
- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
- Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
- Shifts: 4, 8, or 10-hour shifts (morning, day, afternoon)
