Sales Associate – Liquidation & Retail Programs

About Us
Abani Home is an established importer of home goods — rugs, lighting, furniture, pet beds, and décor — supplying major retailers and marketplaces across North America. We're expanding our Canadian sales effort and looking for a driven sales associate to move both liquidation inventory and programmed running-line product into stores
The Role
You'll own the sell-through of our liquidation/closeout inventory and help place our core programmed lines (consistent, repeatable SKUs) with retail buyers — discount chains, big-box, off-price , and independent retail.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and pitch buyers at box stores, discount/off-price retailers, and regional chains
- Move liquidation and overstock lots quickly at target margins
- Present and sell programmed running-line items for ongoing replenishment programs
- Build and manage a buyer pipeline; follow up and close
- Prepare quotes, line sheets, and product presentations (with our support)
- Coordinate with warehousing/logistics on shipping terms and timing
What We're Looking For
- Proven B2B/wholesale sales experience, ideally in home goods, furniture, décor, or off-price/liquidation
- Existing relationships with retail or box-store buyers (strong asset)
- Comfortable with closeout/liquidation deal structures and margin math
- Self-starter who can work a pipeline independently
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred for the Canadian market
Compensation
- Base + commission (structure based on experience)
Pay: $16.10-$26.50 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Saint-Laurent, QC (Montréal)
