Purpose and Scope: The Quality Document Control is in charge of ensuring that Quality System documentation is prepared and updated on time in accordance with quality requirements and customer demands. This position requires an understanding of industry standards, the PLV system, AutoCAD designs, and computer capabilities. The Quality Document Control will collaborate closely with the QC and production teams to guarantee compliance with industry standards, corporate rules, and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with all applicable quality policies/ procedures, health and safety regulations.
- Create/ update drawings, specifications, product history files, blue books and other QA documents.
- Maintain Change Control System.
- Knowledge of dimensional measurements and different measuring tools/ devices (calliper, measure tape, scale, color-meter, impact tester, oven); ability to read blue-prints.
- Ensure that all quality documents are updated according to the ASTM/AAMA Standards.
- Set up new profiles in PLV (Digital Optical Comparator) for online production checks.
- Participate in investigation of internal non-conformance reports and customer quality complaints.
- Maintain RMA (return material authorization) system.
- Update the quality results monthly and communicate them to the supervisors and operators in the plant.
- Coordinate AAMA Audits.
- Participate in Internal Audit.
- Perform calibration for measuring tools/ devices. Maintain the Calibration system.
- Participate in investigations and implementing preventive and corrective actions for Quality issues.
- Adhere to all established health and safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Enforce all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Report safety incidents or near misses promptly and participate in incident investigations.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Special projects or assignments as required.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment.

Job Specifications:
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience within the Quality field in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting (Preferred)
- Team player with multi-tasking abilities
- Must work well under pressure; able to work productively both independently with minimum supervision and on a team to meet deadlines
- Ability to adapt quickly to new procedures, equipment and other workplace changes
- Strong understanding of quality testing procedures and industry standards
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. /23 kgs
- Customer-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and delivery
- Proficient in using quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and engineering drawings
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
